Day 4: Rhodes

We awoke to a lovely sunny morning – warmer than yesterday.

After breakfast in the dining room, we set off into Rhodes Town.  We had been here in 2015 but today it was much quieter and cooler and so much more pleasant to walk around at this time of year.

The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is really amazing with its narrow streets and fortified ramparts.

A spell of walking around and shopping was followed by a beer at one of the many cafes.

You can see just how near Turkey is to Rhodes town. Although based here, we've been charged by BT for non-EU roaming as we were connected to a mobile phone relay in Turkey.  Another one to have out with good old BT!

We were docked within the U-shape on the right
