Monday 30 October

0400 Get up!

0500 Set off

0800 Arrive at car park for transfer to Heathrow Terminal 5

0830 Arrive Terminal 5

0855 Check in opens

1155 Fly from Heathrow on BA flight BA0632.

1730 Land in Athens.

We then catch the airport transfer bus to the port for Athens, Piraeus, which takes between an hour and 90 minutes. We're staying overnight in the Phidias Piraeus Hotel. They will collect us from the nearby bus stop and then take us to the hotel. The next day they'll take us from the hotel to the port, all free of charge!

We board the ship and sail at 1800

We dock at 0500 in the port of Civitavecchia and then travel by coach to Rome Airport. We fly from there at 1410 (1310 UK time) on BA flight BA0555 and land at Heathrow at 1600 UK time.
